Parent coaching services are designed to provide caregivers with expert guidance, practical strategies, and individualized support that can be carried into everyday routines. Services may be helpful for families seeking early guidance, proactive support, home-based strategies, or clarity around developmental concerns.

Services may be provided as one-time consultations, short-term coaching packages, or integrated alongside child therapy, depending on your family’s goals and needs.

Birth to 3 Years

From Coos to Conversation

Support for infants and young toddlers focused on building strong communication foundations from the very beginning. This may include early milestones, gestures, imitation, play, turn-taking, babbling, and first words. Guidance helps caregivers support communication naturally through play, routines, reading, and daily interaction.

Language Launch

Support for toddlers who are not yet talking as much as expected or need help growing language skills. This may include encouraging babbling, jargoning, first words, combining words, imitation, comprehension, play skills, and reducing frustration through communication. Families receive practical strategies that fit naturally into daily life.

Feeding Development

Support for families navigating feeding development and mealtime challenges during the early years. This may include introducing solids, picky eating, limited variety, routines, oral motor foundations, and creating calmer mealtimes. Guidance is individualized to support both progress and the overall family experience.

Preschool Years

Confident Start

Support for children preparing for preschool or group learning environments. This may include following routines, expressing wants and needs, transitions, peer interaction, group participation, play skills, and growing independence. Guidance helps children begin school with greater confidence and readiness.

Speech and Language Boost

Targeted support for preschoolers who may benefit from extra guidance before or during the preschool years. This may include speech clarity, vocabulary growth, comprehension, social communication, or language skills needed for classroom participation.

Feeding Development

Continued feeding support for preschool-age children navigating picky eating, food variety, mealtime rigidity, or ongoing feeding concerns.

School Age

Reading Success

Support for literacy-language skills that impact reading and academic confidence. This may include phonological awareness, vocabulary, reading comprehension, narrative language, written language, and language demands related to learning.

Homework Organization and Support

Support for school-age children who struggle with homework routines, planning, organization, and follow-through. Guidance may include task initiation, time management, breaking down assignments, and creating more successful homework systems at home.

School Advocacy

Support for families navigating school-based services and educational planning. This may include reviewing evaluations, understanding IEPs or 504 plans, preparing for meetings, accommodations, and strengthening collaboration between home and school.

Confident Communicator

Support for school-age children who need help with conversation skills, peer relationships, classroom participation, higher-level language, and navigating social situations with confidence.

 

Parent Troubleshooting 

A one-time or ongoing consultation for families seeking professional guidance, reassurance, or next steps. This may include questions about milestones, routines, speech and language development, feeding, behavior through a communication lens, or whether further support may be helpful.
